Panel, claims and evidence side by side
How Vigorus Works: What the Brand Shows and What Research Says
Vigorus works as a once-a-day capsule: 20 mg niacin, 11 mg zinc and a 570 mg blend led by L-citrulline. The brand shows a three-step panel but publishes no mechanism and no study on the formula. L-citrulline research used 3 to 10 g a day, far above the 570 mg ceiling here.

How does Vigorus work, according to the brand?
The brand explains Vigorus with a three-step panel: one capsule daily, a proprietary blend, and a daily routine. It does not publish a mechanism, a study or a timeline for the formula.
So the honest answer is short. Vigorus is a daily capsule with two nutrients and a small blend. How each part acts in the body comes from research on single ingredients, not on this product.
What does the "How Vigorus works" panel show?
The panel shows three numbered steps and four ingredient tiles. It describes a routine rather than a process inside the body.
01 One capsule daily
The first step on the panel is the dose. It matches the label: one capsule a day, with no set time and no food rule.
02 Proprietary blend
The second step points to the 570 mg blend. The panel does not say what the blend does, and the label gives no single amounts.
03 Daily routine
The third step is about habit. Taking it every day is the plan. The panel does not say how long it takes or what you should notice.

The panel has four tiles: niacin, zinc, L-citrulline and the capsule. These are the parts the brand chose to show. Three of the four are ingredients. The fourth is the capsule itself.
The footer line reads "capsule | product formula | follow label directions". That is a reminder to follow the bottle, not a mechanism. It names no body system and no result.
What does the sales page claim?
The sales page says Vigorus supports "libido, circulation, and healthy testosterone within the normal range". Those words do not appear on the bottle. The front label says only Vigorus, 30 Capsules and Dietary Supplement.
A claim on a sales page is not a test result. Here is each part of that sentence next to what the label and the research can back.
| Claim | Where it appears | What the evidence says |
|---|---|---|
| Libido | Sales page | No study on this formula. Maca is often sold for this, but rigorous human proof is lacking, and the maca share here is 143 mg at most. |
| Circulation | Sales page | L-citrulline and pine bark are linked to blood flow research. L-citrulline studies used 3 to 10 g a day. Vigorus has 570 mg at most. Pine bark reviews found no significant blood pressure benefit. |
| Healthy testosterone within the normal range | Sales page | No hormone data for this formula. Zinc at 11 mg meets the daily need. Meeting a need is not the same as raising a level. |
| One capsule daily | Label and panel | Printed on the bottle. This is a direction, not a benefit. |

How do the main ingredients work on their own?
Each ingredient has its own body of research, done at its own doses. None of that research used the Vigorus mix.
L-citrulline
The body turns it into arginine, which is used to make nitric oxide. Studies on blood pressure used 3 to 10 g a day. Vigorus holds 570 mg at most, and likely much less.
L-carnitine
Helps move fats into cells to be used for energy. Most people make enough. Studies used 1 to 3 g a day; Vigorus holds 285 mg at most.
Pine bark extract
Rich in plant compounds called procyanidins. Reviews call the evidence for most uses insufficient. Vigorus holds 190 mg at most, with no standard named.
Niacin and zinc
Two nutrients with set roles in the body. Vigorus gives 125% and 100% of the Daily Value. They fill a need; they are not drugs.
L-citrulline is the ingredient most linked to circulation. The Allerton review found blood pressure effects at 3 g a day or more (Allerton et al., 2018). Even if the whole blend were L-citrulline, a capsule would give about one fifth of that low end. L-carnitine research used 1 to 3 g a day (NIH ODS, 2023). Pine bark meta-analyses found no significant blood pressure benefit (MSK, 2023).
Maca is a root vegetable. Typical doses run 500 to 3,000 mg a day, and rigorous human proof of its effects is lacking (LiverTox, 2019). Grape skin has no standard dose, and the label gives no strength. Saffron trials were small and mostly about mood (Hausenblas et al., 2013). We do not make a mood claim for Vigorus.
The full list, with the ceiling for each one, is on the Vigorus ingredients page.
Why can a small dose still be in the formula?
Brands often include many ingredients in small amounts. It lets a label show more names inside one capsule.
With 570 mg to share among six items, each gets a slice. A slice may be well under what research used. That does not make the product unsafe. It means the research on each ingredient does not transfer to this capsule at face value.
Some people see that as a weak point. Others like a gentle, low-dose capsule they can take for months. Either view is fair, as long as it rests on the label and not on the claims.
The two printed nutrients are the clearest part. Niacin at 20 mg and zinc at 11 mg meet or pass what adult men need each day (NIH ODS, zinc). If your diet already covers them, extra amounts may not change much.
What should you do with this information?
Think of Vigorus as a simple daily capsule with modest amounts. Set your hopes by the label, not the sales page.
- Take one capsule a day, as the label says, and keep a short note of how you feel.
- Add up niacin and zinc if you use a multivitamin too.
- Use the 60-day guarantee window to decide, since the brand gives no timeline.
- If you take blood pressure or blood-thinning medicine, show the label to a clinician first.
Order-desk reviewers most often say they waited 4 to 8 weeks before judging. That is their report, not a promise. See the results timeline for how to track your own weeks.
How Vigorus works: common questions
Is there a study on Vigorus?
No study on the Vigorus formula has been published. The research cited here is on single ingredients at their own doses.
Does Vigorus raise nitric oxide?
The brand does not publish that claim or any test of it. L-citrulline is linked to nitric oxide in research, but at 3 g a day or more, far above what one capsule can hold.
Does Vigorus change testosterone?
There is no hormone data for this formula. The sales page wording is its own claim, and we do not repeat it as fact.
Why is zinc in the formula?
The label does not say. Zinc at 11 mg meets the daily need for adult men. If you already get enough, extra zinc is not known to add more.
Is it risky that the formula is not tested?
Not by itself. Most supplements are sold without product-level trials. It does mean you should judge Vigorus by its label amounts, and buy sealed bottles from a known seller so you know what you are getting.
Why does the panel mention a daily routine?
The brand frames Vigorus as a daily habit. It gives no timeline, so taking it every day and judging over weeks is the practical approach.
